Pants that match your pace. The Aenergy Light soft shell pants are ideal in summer for mountaineering and climbing or for hiking in the mountains during seasonal transitions. They are made from a particularly lightweight and yet highly abrasion-resistant double-weave fabric. The water-repellent treatment is PFC-free. The pants are breathable, quick-drying and their elasticated properties allow freedom of movement. The waistband is elasticated and the drawstring ensures a perfect fit. The climbing harness-compatible pockets have zippers to make sure nothing gets lost. A drawstring allows you to ideally adjust the leg hems for a more streamlined fit, providing a clearer view of your foot placements when mountaineering and climbing. Breathability:
- Especially for fast-paced activities, you need breathable clothing that regulates your body temperature, wicks away sweat, allows air to pass through, and so keeps you comfortable.

Packability:
- On multi-day adventures or other activities with a lot of equipment, space in the backpack is at a premium. Similarly, for those aiming to travel fast and light, packability is essential. This factor may be less relevant if protection and durability are the top priorities.

- Windproof clothing keeps you from getting cold on breezy peaks or blustery trails and minimizes the wind chill effect, which is your body´s heat loss accelerated by wind. Pay special attention to this factor when your pace is high and conditions are cool and windy.

Stretchability:
- Outdoor clothing must not be constricting. It must be elastic without losing its shape and should give you maximum freedom of movement. The more flexibility your activity requires, the more important stretchy material is.
